Dr. Winslow is Vice President for Enrollment and Student Affairs at William Jewell College, with responsibility for the College’s Offices of Admission, Financial Aid, and Student Affairs.  Rick also serves on the President’s Cabinet and hosts the annual Truman Scholar’s Leadership Week for the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation in Washington, D.C. 

In addition to his work at William Jewell, Dr. Winslow also has an extensive background in consulting with non- and for-profit organizations. In this capacity, he crafts customized programs focused on building healthy organizations and creating lasting leadership legacies. Dr. Winslow's sixteen years of innovative leadership in higher education has been noted in outlets such as Forbes Magazine, Money Magazine, Time Magazine, and U.S. News and World Report.

Rick received his Master of Arts degree in higher education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Education in December of 2000. He earned his Ph.D. in Urban Leadership Policy Studies and Education from UMKC in 2006. When not working at William Jewell, Rick spends time with his sons Barrett and Liam and their dog Darby. Rick is also an avid cyclist and triathlete.
